Saeri has already been busy that morning, but she is slower in the morning. When she spots Bigby, she waves her left hand, which makes the metal prosthetic rather obvious from where her sleeves are pushed up around her biceps. She stands up and walks over to him, smiling, but her eyes are sharp, looking him over. Being taller than him does mean it's easier to get a look at that brand on his forehead.]

[it's funny how the people called 'sleepers' do not, in fact, sleep that much. vi is sad, angry at herself for reasons she hasn't spoken about, and frankly, a bit rattled - none of this comes through her texts at all because she doesn't want it to. but her mind is too busy with things she does not wish to dwell on, so working on work sounds like a great idea.

also, it's become another safe space, and she can't access her current safe space because the beast moon's bad for tempers just now, so no roof sitting at night, not for any great length of time anyway.]

[ Holy shit was Saeri not kidding around about her home having wheels.

Some people would have a more accurate image to what a 'double-decker carriage' means in terms of Trench-era designs, but for a city guy like Robby, he was torn between some kind of minibus and the type of carriage that horses pull?? Basically, Robby was clueless about what to expect other than: house on wheels.

And that sure is a house on wheels when Robby finds it.

He just needs a moment, to take in the sight of it from the outside before even getting to the door. But even that leads him to taking in the design, and just...everything about it, appreciating it before he knocks on the front door.

And yes, he'll give a 'Hey' in greeting, but quickly after that, with a thumb pointing at the exterior: ]

[ So, this month is a ride when it's coming to people's privacy.

As in, there isn't any, though Robby was warned about that. Memories shared inside books, personal moments sent over the omnis. It's different, from being told to experiencing it, and the supposed ease these experiences provide are brief at best. How are you meant to operate smoothly afterwards, with another's life and emotions still kicking around in your head, your heart?

Robby doesn't say anything to Saeri to begin with. He comes for his regular lessons, helping, learning of runecraft. He's brought some paleblood this time, infused with the effects of paranoia this month--maybe they can fuck with the amounts to make a useful ink that will increase a paleblood's natural ability of future-seeing: basically, making one more alert to their surroundings, quicker reflexes (before falling into panic).

The right dilution, the right words. The right timing, but Robby doesn't know when that will be beyond a lull in their work, which he goes for with some reservation. ]

So... if I saw one of your memories, would you want me to tell you about it?

[The fact he brought samples makes Saeri feels this weird sort of pride. Because he's picking up things pretty quickly and coming up with ideas and hypotheticals and she had forgotten how much she enjoyed having someone to tutor. It really scratches that itch inside of her. And she really needs it right now, considering as time goes she's becoming more and more restless. She can't settle down, she needs more to do, more to keep her mind and hands busy. Robby helps with that.

And since her blood magic isn't on the fritz like last month, nothing has threatened to explode yet. Mixing the paleblood with darkblood could help with with the faster reflexes and hyper-vigilance--except maybe they shouldn't be using hers, considering it's imbued with a near manic hyperactivity that she hasn't even noticed because this happens to her often enough anyway. Whoops.

She's carefully stirring in some of her personal ink, with the paleblood, watching as it shifts to a more creamy color--when he asks that and she freezes. For just a moment. It could be noticeable, but she's back to loose and casual as quick as can be. She shrugs.]

...It would be nice to know. People knowing things about you that you didn't tell them is kind of fucked, but Trench doesn't give us much of a choice.

[ Because of course Robby's going to bring a little something to his rad teacher for Christmas (doesn't matter if she celebrates it, it's a way to appreciate people). He's gotten her a box of chocolates in a box unlike anything from Trench... because it isn't. There is, however, three packets of cookies done up in muslin and with a bow, of an oatmeal raisin variety, salted caramel, and chocolate. A card comes with them, white inked snowflakes (with a wooden stamp) on top of a navy blue card.

Inside is a stamped deer, along with a message:
